Tourism Council of Greater Cincinnati 

TCGC (Tourism Council of Greater Cincinnati) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting excellent service throughout the region through education and networking to encourage repeat business.  Our membership is made up of sales and marketing professionals from tourism, hospitality, restaurant, transportation and attraction businesses in SW Ohio, N Kentucky and SE Indiana (the Greater Cincinnati area). We produce a monthly program meeting that is historically a lunch meeting the fourth Tuesday of each month, September through June, at different member locations to learn what's new, what is happening that could affect our businesses and for professional development.


TCGC produces the annual ROSE Awards celebration to honor an recognize the very best front line and service individuals (excluding managers) who provide excellence beyond the normal call of duty for visitors to Greater Cincinnati.  ROSE Award recipients are selected by a seasoned panel of industry professionals from nominees submitted for excellent service during the 12 months prior to the event.

Nominees include, but are not limited to the following categories:

Attractions: Housekeeping, ticket takers, ushers, docents, desk personnel

Hotels: Front desk, housekeeping, bellmen (includes full and limited service properties)

Restaurants: Kitchen staff, hostesses, servers

Retail: Clerks and store keepers

Transportation: Airport/airline personnel, bus/taxi drivers
